About Draycott Ward
The company was founded in 2004, following a management buy-out of Colonial Preservation, who had been operating in the building sector for over 10 years. One of the results of the buy-out has been to successfully focus the business on the support of insurance companies in supported domestic or industrial fire, flood and storm claims, and with property management companies.
With a large multi-skilled workforce, supported by an experienced management team, we have been successful in supporting our current portfolio of insurance and management companies with regular pro-active maintenance and immediate reactive response to fire, flood and storm damage insurance claims.
We offer project management and consultancy and are focused on communication, quality and reliability.
Our service ranges from the support of the routine maintenance of domestic, engineering and business properties, including equine, local government and farming, to tendering on large projects, especially listed buildings.
We employ a broad range of experienced and skilled tradesman enabling us to provide corrective work, and to respond immediately in the event of insurance work with either a call or a visit. We fully vet and monitor our tradesmen and issue our entire team with ID cards. We provide continual training and coaching of all skill bases and also carry out regular spot checks on our work as part of an internal audit process, and are prompt to respond to any problems or reported bad workmanship. These internal audits are available for inspection and external audit. We do not employ site workers, nor employ sub-contract labour unless they have a proven record in the insurance field.
